For Spouses of U.S. Citizens
Who Does This Help?
This helps undocumented spouses of U.S. Citizens who:
- Entered the U.S. without inspection
- Have been married to a U.S. Citizen as of June 17, 2024
- Have lived in the U.S. for at least 10 years
How Will This Help?
If approved, applicants will have three years to apply for their permanent residency without having to leave the U.S. They will also be eligible for work authorization for up to three years.
Employment-Based Sponsored Dreamers
Who Does This Help?
This helps DACA recipients and other Dreamers who:
- Have earned a degree from a U.S. higher education institution
- Have been offered employment by a U.S. employer
How Will This Help?
The administration promises to streamline the visa process for employment sponsorship for Dreamers.
